The kids came in singing "You've got a friend in me." It was so cute. I was so blessed to be able to volunteer in Preston's classroom a couple of days a week this year doing Literacy groups so I feel such an attachment to each one of these special friends. I am seriously going to miss that this summer.
They look so somber here...his teacher was reading the sweetest letter to the class and it was really hard not to cry!
I am also going to miss his amazing teacher, who was also Courtney's kindergarten teacher. I know I have said it before, but she is TOP NOTCH. She does a K/1st grade split, but I really feel Preston is ready to move up (especially with him reading on a 3rd grade level!). Mrs. Combs will always hold a special place in our heart though.
