We woke up in Freeport and the weather was a tad warmer than Miami (the high was 64). There was a little market set up in the Lucayan Harbour; a band playing music and a taxi station with dozens of taxi's to take you into town. A nice couple sitting by a big water fountain offered to take a family photo for us....

Scott got his island's confused and decided that we should
walk into town. As I was looking around to ask about this, he and Preston had already taken off,

So we walked,

and walked (did I mention I had a broken toe??!),

Preston picked up a butterfly;

we continued to walk; talk; laugh and take pictures.

We finally gave it up after about 6 miles and stopped at a gas station and called a cab. The cabbie told us the town was 11 miles from the Harbour!! We were more than half way at least...and he only charged us $5 MORE than if we had taken the cab from the Harbour. Nice guy.
But alas, we made it to the big Straw Market where we shopped and had a nice Greek lunch.

And then we went across the street to the beach, the big Marriot and the casino,

Beautiful place,

We took a taxi back to the ship and had another amazing dinner,

and dessert,

We then we went to see a Comedy show which was not only hilarious, but kid-friendly (I hate it when they make comedy shows R rated),

They were suprised to get a towel made bunny when we arrived back to the room,

We then played some cards until we all got sleepy.
P.S. Whoever says you never spend time in your room on a ship has not met my family :-).
